Douglas Mining deploys a range of sensors each purpose built to push varying types of physics to create actionable intelligence. Hall effect magnetometers produce a voltage proportional to the applied magnetic field and also sense polarity, this can enable a unit to identify ore clusters, explosive devices, or voids in space using a known and well documented set of algorithms to present the user with signal of a measured outlier.

In geological investigations, electrical resistance allows archaeological geophysics to dominate. A stone foundation might impede the flow of electricity, while the organic deposits within a midden might conduct electricity more easily than surrounding soils. Electrical resistivity tomography allows identification of sub-surface structures from electrical resistivity measurements made at the surface. Using inverse geodetic algorithms a user can be presented a geodesic (general relativity) visual representation that looks most similar to a topography map:
